Course Description

Overview

IBPS RRB Office Assistant is an exam conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the recruitment of Office Assistants in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India. The job profile of an Office Assistant in RRBs involves various clerical and administrative tasks such as record keeping, data entry, attending to customer queries, maintaining files and documents, etc.

Eligibility criteria

1. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently in India.

2. Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 to 28 years of age as of June 1, 2022. However, there is age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.

3. Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification. Proficiency in the local language of the state/UT is desirable. Candidates should also have working knowledge of computer systems.
