Overview
IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1, also known as RRB PO, is an exam conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (POs) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India. The RRB PO job profile involves managing banking operations, leading teams, and maintaining customer relationships in rural areas.
The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 exam is conducted in three stages:
1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Exam
3. Interview
Candidates who qualify in all the three stages are finally selected for the post of RRB Officer Scale 1.
Eligibility criteria
1. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently in India.
2. Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 to 30 years of age as of June 1, 2022. However, there is age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.
3. Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification. Proficiency in the local language of the state/UT is desirable. Candidates should also have working knowledge of computer systems.
4. Work Experience: No prior work experience is required for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 exam.

IBPS RRB PO Exam Pattern for Mains
Like Prelims, the Main exam is also conducted in online mode only. While the Prelims exam has two sections, namely, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, the Main exam has five sections. The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 exam pattern for Mains is tabulated below:

IBPS RRB PO Interview
IBPS invites candidates who have passed the RRB PO Mains exam to the Interview round. The interview process will be worth 100 marks, with the maximum score for qualifying for this round being 40 per cent (35 per cent for ST/SC/OBC/PWD candidates).
