LSAT – India is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by the USA–based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for use by law schools in India. The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is a nonprofit corporation, founded in 1947, the Council is best known for administering the Law School Admission Test (LSAT®).
They administer about 100,000 tests annually at testing centers throughout the world. LSAT-India is designed to test logical and analytical reasoning ability of the candidate as these two attributes are critical for success in law schools. So, there are no questions designed to assess prior legal knowledge, mathematical knowledge, and current affairs. LSAT – India scores are accepted by 70 law schools for admissions to their full or partial batch. In India, the test is administered by Pearson VUE (Virtual University Enterprise), across 16 major cities.
